It is worth sharing the knowledge of what this entry is a very good example. Sharing my idea for the method of dividing large models, I received a comment – "and it was enough to use 3d luban ". Since you can make it easier, faster and free, I decided to check it out. At the outset I will say that Luban 3d created by Lujie Chen and Larry Sass is a great tool for cutting models.

- Step one, select the model and enlarge it to the desired size e.g. using the free tinkercad tool:

2. Import the exported model into Luban 3d:

3. Select "Mesh" – "Lu Ban" from the top menu. Then select "Method" – "Module" and enter the size of your printer's workspace:

4. Now you just need to save the model, as a result of which we will get several separate .stl files ready to print:
